About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Podiatrist to join our Feet in Motion Podiatry team.

The role encompasses work across two clinics, both at the Motus Health Centre City Clinic and with the well-established Dunedin Podiatry Clinic.

Our team’s aim is to get people feeling good, moving with confidence and achieving their goals. We believe that movement is medicine, and we get our pleasure from helping clients walk away with comfort and independence.

Our podiatrists work with an MSK focus, this is a mix of ACC, private biomechanical and general foot care clients with full administration support.

You will work with two of New Zealand’s most experienced podiatrists, being supported by Dunedin Podiatry’s Richard Van Plateringen, alongside his team of podiatrists, and Feet n Motion’s Nick Haley.

The role at the Motus Health Centre City Clinic offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team of experienced physiotherapists, Pilates Instructors and an Orthopaedic surgeon. This clinic is located within a busy mall with the hospital and other medical practitioners nearby, boasting new and modern facilities with a comprehensive fully equipped Pilates studio and gym space.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for a NZ registered and qualified Podiatrist. Graduates are also welcome to apply, and full training will be provided as part of our Graduate Education Programme. Flexible working options are available to suit your lifestyle.

We have a hands-on approach to our MSK components, which means we do a lot of manual therapy, exercise prescription and movement activities. We shall be helping the Motus Dunedin team with some mentoring and clinical supervised hours within our clinic as the role expands.
