Part-Time Podiatrist - Clinic & Home Visits
Mainly Tauranga | Some Papamoa | Flexible Part-Time Opportunity

Body Mechanix is a well-established multidisciplinary allied health clinic with locations in Tauranga and Papamoa. Our podiatry team works alongside physiotherapy, acupuncture and massage, providing a supportive and collaborative environment for both clinicians and patients.

We are looking for a Part-Time Podiatrist to join our friendly and supportive team, working mainly from our Tauranga clinic with some work at Papamoa and the opportunity to provide home visits in the community. This role would suit someone who wants flexible part-time work and enjoys a varied caseload combining clinic-based podiatry with community home visits.

About the role:

• Provide high-quality podiatry assessment and treatment in clinic, primarily based in Tauranga with some Papamoa work.

• Undertake home visits for clients in the community, including elderly and less-mobile clients.

• General podiatry care including skin and nail care, corns/callus and ingrown nails.

• Diabetic foot care and ongoing management.

• Verruca treatment.

• Musculoskeletal and lower-limb assessment.

• Orthotic assessment, prescription and fitting.

• ACC injury support through our ACC Orthotics Contract, including moon boots, DARCO shoes and other eligible lower-limb supports.

• Work collaboratively with our physiotherapy, acupuncture and massage teams.

• Maintain clear and professional clinical documentation and communication with the clinic team.

About you:

• Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) or an equivalent qualification recognised in New Zealand.

• Registration with the Podiatrists Board of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate, or eligibility to obtain one.

• Great communication and interpersonal skills.

• A caring, patient-focused approach.

• Ability to work independently for home visits while also being part of a collaborative team.

• A valid New Zealand driver's licence for home visits.
