New Graduate Position with Mentorship - Sunny Hawkes Bay


Calling all new graduates or those in their first or second year who are looking for a position with strong mentorship to accelerate their skills in musculoskeletal podiatry.

We are looking for a new team member who wants to be part of our vision which is to be a centre of excellence. Our team have the time and opportunity to explain various treatment options to their clients. We use innovative treatment approaches, such as radial and focused shockwave therapy, photobiomodulation (laser) therapy, foot mobilisation, adjunctive to your orthotic prescription and functional rehab prescriptions. We invest in good proven technology to ensure our team have the best options available to our clients.

  • Flexible work hours

  • 3x weekly 1-1 mentoring (We discuss clinical case studies, learn and review assessment and  treatment techniques (for example video gait, running cues, foot mobilisation, strength and  conditioning programmes))

  • 1 hour per day for case review (based on average), presenting at either of the weekly catch-up sessions with principal podiatrist.

  • Shadowing and tag teaming of clients with other team members

  • Access to a vast range of online professional development resources

  • Monthly team training sessions (either on-site or with other health professionals such as physios), or ad-hoc outside of this, depending on the need

  • Professional development allowance for conference and workshops

  • 90  day check in with personal CPD plan as part of Podiatrist Board Registration and development of personal KPI dashboard

  • Friday afternoon’s off

  • APC and PodiatryNZ membership reimbursement. Also happy to help with provisional registration requirements to enable an earlier employment (instead of waiting for start of registration year in April)

  • Annual full day and Quarterly half day workshops to work on the business and
    celebrate our success

We are seeking new graduate or first/second-year podiatrists with:

  • An interest in musculoskeletal podiatry but is also happy to do some general podiatry care, and nail surgery.

  • A desire to invest in your career with a business willing to invest in you.

  • Friendly personality that’s energetic, eager to learn and develop as part of a team of professionals.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • A library of great podiatry puns and jokes.

  • Ideally, a draw fill of silly socks for fun sock Friday's.

  • A passion and enjoyment of treating patients and fit in with our vibrant, friendly team
