At Riccarton Podiatry we provide comprehensive podiatry services in a collaborative and patient-focused environment. We are proud to be a preferred provider for ACC, funded Diabetic Health and Veterans’ Affairs NZ, giving our clinicians the opportunity to work with a diverse and broad range of rewarding patients.

Our caseload includes:

• GP and specialist referrals requiring professional assessment and advice.

• Sports injuries and complex musculoskeletal presentations.

• Biomechanical assessments.

• ACC injury diagnosis, management and funded orthotics.

• Orthotic prescription and management.

• General podiatry and nail care.

• Diabetic and high-risk foot management.

• Nail avulsion procedures and other advanced podiatric interventions.

• You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in more complex patient management.

For a motivated and enthusiastic podiatrist you will ideally:

• Hold a relevant podiatry qualification and current registration in New Zealand.

• Have some clinical experience (beyond your placements.)

• Be confident communicating with patients and other healthcare professionals.

• Have a genuine interest in developing your clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills.

• Enjoy a varied caseload and the challenge of learning new areas of podiatry.

• Be comfortable working independently

Bring initiative, professionalism and a great attitude to the team.

Experience with sports injuries, biomechanics, orthotics or diabetic foot care would be an advantage, but we are equally interested in someone with the right attitude.
