Senior Podiatrist - Tauranga & Papamoa
Full-Time or Part-Time | Senior Clinical & Leadership Opportunity

Body Mechanix is a well-established multidisciplinary allied health clinic with locations in Tauranga and Papamoa. Our podiatry team works alongside physiotherapy, acupuncture and massage, providing a supportive and collaborative environment for both clinicians and patients.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Podiatrist to join Body Mechanix and play a key role across our Tauranga and Papamoa clinics. This position suits a podiatrist who enjoys maintaining a clinical caseload while also providing leadership, mentoring and support to the wider podiatry team.

The role can be structured as full-time or part-time, with flexibility around days and hours for the right person.

About the role:

• Maintain your own clinical caseload across Tauranga and Papamoa.

• Provide high-quality podiatry assessment and treatment across general, diabetic, musculoskeletal and lower-limb care.

• Support and mentor podiatrists, including new graduates.

• Help maintain consistent clinical standards, treatment protocols and best-practice documentation.

• Provide guidance on more complex podiatry cases when required.

• Support the development of our orthotics services and the use of new technology.

• Work within our ACC Orthotics Contract, including orthotics, moon boots, DARCO shoes and other eligible lower-limb supports.

• Support ACC compliance and appropriate clinical processes.

• Work collaboratively with our physiotherapy, acupuncture and massage teams.

• Contribute to podiatry team meetings, training, professional development and service growth.

About you:

• An experienced podiatrist who is clinically confident and enjoys supporting others.

• Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) or an equivalent qualification recognised in New Zealand.

• Registration with the Podiatrists Board of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate, or eligibility to obtain one.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A caring, patient-focused and collaborative approach.

• An interest in mentoring, team development and multidisciplinary care.
