Sport Podiatry Special Interest Group

Speakers: Sports physician Dr Dr Brendan O'Neil who has worked extensively in sports medicine of the last 15 years, and senior physiotherapist Amanda Foster from Active Health Waikato.

Amanda and Brendan were involved in implementing an ACL conservative management protocol, and Amanda has also been involved in touring with the New Zealand 21 netball team and is extensively involved in netball in the Waikato.

The theme of this talk is "the netball ankle and other ankle injuries” and is an opportunity to further our knowledge in both acute and some more chronic sports specific ankle injuries.

Ideally a brush up on ankle anatomy prior would be a good idea.
