About the Event
This advanced clinical session explores one of the most dangerous and commonly missed presentations in diabetic podiatry practice — subtle Critical Limb Ischaemia. The session starts with a quiz then I detail a case of a 69-year-old T2DM woman with a minor-appearing subungal ulcer diagnosed with superficial femoral artery occlusion. This lecture challenges how we assess “benign” wounds in high-risk patients and how they should be managed.

Simon graduated from the Central Institute of Technology in 1998 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry. During this time he was awarded the Jim Philps prize for meritorious effort worthy of merit.
