Clinical Excellence Training

The Handbook training will be a practical workshop working through how to write a plan, prepare and produce a  Clinic Handbook for your practice.

Clinical Excellence is something to strive for, based on continuous quality improvement it benefits patients by delivering more efficient clinical services. This training programme is for those who have not previously attended Clinic Handbook training, or for Practices who have already attended and wish to up-skill additional staff members at a reduced rate.

Based on the Quality Standard NZ8171: The Allied Health Standard. This training will give you access to the PodiatryNZ Clinic Handbook. The handbook provides a comprehensive guide to legislation and standards that underpin best practice in clinic management.

This training  will be useful for anyone who has ever needed to:

• Provide a health and safety risk management plan
• Prepare an informed consent form
• Undertake a patient satisfaction survey
• Create staff induction and employee management systems
• Review your patient complaints process

• Registered Podiatrists who operate a business
• Registered Podiatrist employees who have responsibility for management issues
• Practice Managers
• Registered Podiatrists must be members of PodiatryNZ
