About the Job
Riccarton Podiatry is in the buzz of Riccarton, home of the largest mall, centrally located within easy distance of the vibrant CBD.
As Christchurch hospital has outsourced diabetic care, we are one of the preferred providers of funded diabetic servicing. This role requires:
experience working with low and moderate risk diabetics to prevent foot complications and with high risk and active ulcerations to manage them.
experience managing high risk foot patients post ulcer and amputation to provide footwear, orthotics and ongoing treatments to reduce the risk of further foot complications.
experience in paediatrics, to respond to GP referrals with professional diagnosis and advice.
experience supervising podiatry students on placements.
All of these have had a very strong multidisciplinary approach. The clinic has both management and reception support for the mixed case load, including high risk diabetics, paediatrics and complex sports and biomechanics patients. Gensolve Practice Management and an on-line booking system is in place. We are also highly sought after to service community locations in Christchurch.
There is an established patient base ranging from long term maintenance care to new patients coming in daily: a wide variety of clients, children to seniors. Never a dull moment! Read more about us @www.ricccartonpodiatry.co.nz.
