Job Location:

Contractual Agreement:

Full time position

Hours per Week:

Hours negotiable

Hourly Pay:

Experience dependant.

Treatment Type:

The work load consists of predominantly palliative care, community Diabetic care, high risk foot care, ingrown nail surgery, a smattering of ACC and biomechanics (this area is increasing with more availability for appointments) and a sprinkling of rest home work. We are committed to ongoing education and upskilling our clinicians and practice. Be rest assured that our rest homes are lovely and a helper from the rest home is provided to help on days we are there. At the clinic we have a lovely part time receptionist Martina, to help with admin, phone reminders and sterilizing instruments, among other things.

About the Job

Thames is a great spot at the base of the Coromandel Peninsula with its own quirks and eccentricities that the Coromandel is known for, like hosting the annual Steampunk festival. It is the gateway to the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula with walks, the Hauraki rail trail, beaches and fishing spots close by, and it is just over an hour away from Auckland.

We are a branch of Waikato Podiatry that is becoming its own entity. We are growing and changing rapidly and we need a fabulous podiatrist to help us out to meet our ever-increasing demand. The applicant needs to be self-driven, reliable, caring and motivated. Experience is not necessarily a necessity; we are looking for the right person to join our team and care about our clients as much as we do.

There is certainly a long-term opportunity for the right person to help us grow the business. The role would be predominantly Thames based with some travel to the occasional satellite clinic.  If you are interested, we would love to hear from you. Please contact me at ajcollins.pod@gmail.com.
