About the Job
Capital and Coast DHB is expanding its high risk and acute podiatry service to better meet the increasing demand within in the DHB region. The expansion requires experienced podiatrists with the skills and knowledge to provide safe and clinically effective patient assessment and treatment for the management of complex presentations.
The podiatrist will work with a small team of podiatrists to provide tertiary podiatry service into outpatient clinics and inpatient settings across the three CCDHB sites - Kenepuru Hospital, Kapiti Health Centre and in Wellington Regional Hospital. They will provide assessment and treatment for high risk feet with active foot disease in patients with diabetes and vascular diseases.
We are looking for someone who has had at least 3 years of clinical experience with skills and knowledge specific to diabetes and vascular diseases. Experiences in working within a multidisciplinary focus and across a population spectrum will be highly regarded. The person in this role will be expected to flex across all three CCDHB sites as needed to meet service requirements.
To apply you must be a NZ Registered Podiatrist with current annual practicing certificate. Membership of the PodiatryNZ is desirable.
